The Grand Jury Bureau is responsible for hearing and examining evidence concerning offenses, misconduct, nonfeasance and neglect in public office, whether criminal or otherwise, and to take action with respect to such evidence; indict; return to lower court; return to Family Court or to dismiss; based on Article 190 of the New York State Criminal Procedure Law.
